Kathy Pilkey, CSAM incorporated SmartSearch Group in 2003 in order to join the Atlanta Independent Recruiters Network.  We endeavor to provide recruiting excellence and consulting services throughout the greater Atlanta community through our vast network of client partners and referral candidates.

Founder, Kathy Pilkey brings over 22 years of recruiting expertise and a reputation for hard work and integrity rooted in her 15 year association with Management Recruiters International.  As a National Top Ten Account Executive with the OM5 division in Atlanta, Kathy’s team was named Office of the Decade and consistently took home top honors for national achievement as Office of the Year. Kathy achieved  CSAM (Certified Senior Account Manager) status after exceeding a series of annual production milestones and passing a rigorous achievement test covering legal, ethical, and other recruiting guidelines.  She continues to update her professional training through SHRM and GAPS membership.

As an Atlanta native and a Graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Marketing, Kathy has a unique understanding of the Atlanta market and deeply rooted associations with some of Atlanta’s most respected companies.  Kathy continues to serve her college community as an alumni partner with the UGA Terry College of Business and her sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. She is the Communications Chairperson for the Chattahoochee High School Art Booster Club where her husband Tom teaches school and her son Patrick is currently a senior studying photography. Her oldest son, Chris is studying Engineering and Business at Auburn University.
